is this a sprite commercial masquerading as a social experiment or a social experiment masquerading as a sprite commercial?

This is kinda brilliant, but for the fact that you'd have to end up at the club with the record bag, the ironic hoodie, the glasses, and the headphones...

There's some kind of point about the underlying deference to authority here. I wonder if it would work in NYC, where there seems to be somewhat less of that.
